Perennial with scaly rootstock penetrating between stones. Stems several, unbranched, 4-6 cm. long, glabrous. Basal leaves in rosettes, spathulate, 10-17 mm long, petiolate, margin crenate or entire; cauline leaves 6-12 mm long, semiamplexicaul with short auricles. Inflorescence corymbose, 12-29-flowered. Sepals 2-2.5 mm long, oblong-elliptic, purplish. Petals 5-6 mm long, pale lilac with darker veins. Fruiting pedicels spreading, 4-6 mm long. Silicula 5-7.5 x 3.5-5 mm, obcordate; wings to 1.5 mm; sinus 2 mm, Style 0.2-0.4 mm long. Stigma capitate. Seeds 1.5-1.7 mm long, tuberculate, 2 in each loculus. Fl. & Fr. 6. Rocky peridotite slopes, 2000-2100 m.
