Annual with stiffly erect branched stems, 20-80 cm. Indumentum of simple, stiff, reflexed hairs. Basal leaves rosette-forming, deeply pinnatisect with a ± round terminal lobe, petiolate. Cauline leaves shortly petiolate, pinnatisect, with a broad, linear, hastate, terminal lobe. Petals 3-4 x 1 mm, narrowly obovate-cuneate. Fruiting pedicels 2-4 mm, adpressed, thick. Siliquae 11-17 mm, conical, 1-1,5 mm broad at base, gradually narrowing upwards; valves hairy ; style c. 0,5 mm. Radicle obliquely incumbent. Fl. 3-6. Roadsides, waste places, arable land, s.l.-1000 m.
