Erect branched annual up to 40 cm, with short glandular and long eglandular spreading hairs. Leaves pinnatisect, lobes decurrent, acute, entire or divided. Involucral bracts 10-16 mm, lanceolate, glandular-pilose, longer than flowers. Corolla whitish or pink. Involucel 3-4 mm, hairy on ribs, corona very narrow, scarious, with internal membranous collar at base ofcalyx. Calyx c. 6 mm, setae 12-16. Fl. 5. Waste land, fields, 400-500 m.
