Glandular-pubescent annual. Stems erect, up to 15 cm. Lower leaves narrowly spathulate, petiolate, upper leaves ± narrowly elliptic. Inflorescence lax, wide-branching. Bracts herbaceous. Pedicels exceeding the sepals, sharply refracted in fruit. Sepals ± oblong, obtuse, 5-6 mm, with narrow scarious margins. Petals slightly shorter than the sepals, claws glabrous. Capsule exserted from the calyx; teeth with revolute margins. Fl. 4-6. Screes and in forests, 700-1200 m.
