Annual to perennial herbs, with erect, slender stems, 20-30 cm, glandular-pubescent below. Leaves linear-lanceolate or linear, 12-25 mm, 3-nerved. Inflorescence a lax panicle, about 15-flowered. Pedicels glandular-pubescent ± equalling the calyx, sometimes much longer. Bracts not enclosing the calyx. Calyx 5-6 mm, asperous or glandular-pubescent, the costae with 3 veins, the teeth triangular, acute. Petals 6-8 mm, oblong-spathulate, white. Seeds 1.8-2.1 x 1-1.3 mm.
