Perennial, 5-15 cm. Leaves 3,5-6,5 x 1,2-2 mm, lanceolate to elliptic, thick and flat, 3-nerved, the submarginal veins prominent, apex. obtuse, sometimes apiculate. Flowering shoot leaves shorter and narrower, much shorter than internode, often adpressed. Flowers solitary on slender stems branched above. Bracteoles 4-6, ¼ of the calyx length, broadly ovate, pale, coriaceous, apex green, nervose, apiculate, inner often truncate-apiculate. Calyx 8-10 x 3 mm, subcylindrical, narrowed slightly above, greenish or purplish, teeth 2-2,5 mm, linear to lineer-lanceolate, obtuse. Petal limb white, 2,5-3 mm, ebarbulate, subentire, linear-oblong. Fl. 7. Rocky slopes, 1700-2160 m.
