Perennial, glabrous below, glandular-hairy above, rhizome woody; stems several, woody at the base, rigid, 30-60 cm. Leaves linear, coriaceous, with prominent nerves, ± scabrous, linear to linear-lanceolate, narrowly acuminate, 10-40 x 1-5 mm. Inflorescence a rich glandular-hairy panicle. Pedicels 2-7 mm Calyx 2-2,5 mm, glabrous or glandular-hairy, campanulate-turbinate, white with green or pink midrib, teeth acute to acuminate with flat minute calcium oxalate druses. Petals pink, 3-4,5 mm, cuneate, with broad truncate or emarginate limb. Capsule unknown. Fl. 6-7. Dry stony slopes, 1200-1600 m.
