Perennial with numerous prostrate stems 5-20 cm, glandular-pubescent everywhere. Leaves oblong, acute to obtuse, 5-10 x 1-4 mm. Bracts leaf-like. Flowers solitary, axillary. Pedicels 5-10 mm. Calyx widely campanulate, 5-8 mm, teeth ovate, acute. Petals oblanceolate, emarginate to bilobed, 1 ½  x longer than calyx, whitish blue, pinkish mauve outside. Seeds with flat tubercles. FI. 7-9. Stony slopes, dry banks, 1300-1800 m.
Endemic. Euxine element.
