Annual, 5-30 cm, viscous to glandular-hairy, branched above or more rarely from the base. Leaves linear to linear-Ianeeolate, 10-40 x 1-3·5 mm, obtuse to acute, glabrous to glandular-hairy. Inflorescence lax, dichasial. Bracts triangular, acute, scarious. Pedicels capillary, 2-25 mm, viscous or glandular-hairy. Calyx wide-campanulate, glabrous or glandular-hairy, 1,5-2,5 mm, teeth ovate to hemispheric, obtuse to apiculate. Petals white to pale pink, 2,5-5 mm, oblanceoIate to cuneate, obtuse. Seeds with obtuse to acute tubercles.
