Stems ascending to erect, frequently branched, 10-30 cm. Leaves lanceolate to very narrowly elliptic-lanceolate, acute. Inflorescence usually many-flowered. Bracts with broad scarious margins. Petals slightly longer than to 2 x longer than the sepals, blue. Stamens 10. Capsule ovoid, exceeding the sepals.
