Suffrutescent herbs, with slender, erect, glandular-pubescent stems, 10-20 cm, arising from a twisted woody stock. Lower leaves 10-15 mm, linear or linear-oblanceolate, 3-veined. Inflorescence a lax panicle with 10-30 flowers. Bracts not enclosing the calyx. Calyx usually exceeding the pedicel, 5,5-6,5 mm, the costae 3-veined, the teeth narrowly triangular and acute. Petals 7-9 mm, entire, oblanceolate- spathulate, white with purple veins . Seeds 1,5 x 0,5 mm, brown and minutely papillose. Fl. 7. Limestone rocks, 500-1800 m.
