Perennial with long, straggling caudical branches. Stems 5-8 cm, pilose, sparsely glandular. Leaves all ± similar, the lower 10-15 x 3-4 mm; all puberulent. Flowers 3-5 in a dichasiumn. Calyx 25-28 mm, neither inflated nor sharply constricted below the capsule in fruit, viscid with a dense indumentum of glandular hairs. Petals deep pink, the limb divided to c. 3/4 of its length. Anthophore 15-17mm, glabrous. Capsule ovoid. Fl. 7. Screes, 2700-2900 m.
