Glaucous, glabrous perennial. Stems erect, viscid above, 70-100 cm. Basal leaves small, soon withering. Median cauline leaves up to 2 x longer than broad, ovate to elliptic, cordate at the base, acute, more than 10 mm broad. Inflorescence racemose or paniculate, lax. Calyx 12-23 mm. Petals white to khaki, the limb bipartite into oblong-obovate lobes. Anthophore 6-9.5 mm. Capsule 13-17 x 5-6 mm, somewhat exserted from the calyx. Fl. 7-8. Open stony slopes, 1000-3100 m.
