Caespitose perennial, stems erect, 8-25 cm, ± glabrous, often viscid in the middle region. Rosette leaves very narrowly oblanceolate, c. 15 x 1,5-3 mm, greyish, sparsely papillose-ciliate; cauline leaves reduced, distant, ± linear. Flowers solitary. Calyx 16-18mm, glabrous. Petals white or greenish-white, the limb deeply bipartite. Anthophore 7-9 mm, glabrous. Capsule ovoid-oblong, slightly exserted from the calyx. Fl. 6-8. Rocky places, 2000-2900 m.
