Caespitoese perennial, the flowering stems erect, 3-12 cm, ± glabrous below, becoming sparingly glandular-pubescent abeve, viscid. Leaves linear to linear oblanceolate, 5-15 mm, reduced and distant above. Inflerescence a few flowered cyme, or flowers solitary. Calyx 6-8 mm, glandular-pubescent. Petals white with purplish reverse, the limb bipartite te 2/3 of its length. Anthophore 2-3,5 mm. Capsule 4-6 mm, included in the calyx. Fl. 7-8. Screes, rocks, etc., 1800-3000 m.
