Small shrub up to 60 cm tall. Leaves broadly petiolate, ovate-elliptic, 1-3 cm long, grey stellate-tomentose above and below. Cymes terminal, congested, 2-5-flowered. Flowers pink, 2-3 cm across. Style short. Fl. 3-4. Calcareous garigue near Mediterranean coast, s.I.-100 m.
