Greyish lanate-tomentose shrub, with procumbent, ascending or erect 30 cm stems, rarely spinescent. Leaves spathulate-oblanceolate, elliptic or oblanceolate-elliptic, sessile, with midrib and secondary veins ± prominent beneath. Flowers axillary in compact 2-5-flowered cymes. Outer sepals c. 10 mm, ovate-elliptic, acute, densely spreading-tomentose. Corolla white , 18-20 mm. Ovary glabrous. Fl. 5. Sand dunes, nr s.l.
N. Africa, Sinai, Palestine, Arabia. Saharo-Sindian element.
