Stoloniferous glabrous perennial; ascending flowering stems 10-30 cm; sterile shoots present. Leaves tapering below but sessile, cuneate, 20-35 x c. 10 mm, plane, crenate above, alternate. Inflorescence a dense 15-30-flowered corymb. Flowers 5-6-merous, pedicellate; sepals 4-5 mm, acute; petals whitish-yellow or bright pink, 8-10 mm; follicles glabrous, erect. Fl. 7-8. Rocks, etc., 1600-2700 m.
Caucasia, N. Iran; introduced in Europe. Hyrcano-Euxine element.
