Minute glabrous erect annual, 5-10 cm; stems simple or branched, becoming thicker below the inflorescence. Leaves oblong, 4-6 mm, terete, alternate, imbricate. Inflorescence corymbose, conferted, 10-20-flowered. Flowers 5-merous, white, subsessile; sepals 1-1,5 mm, blunt-tipped, joined for ½ - 2/3 of their length; petals 3-4 mm; stamens 10; follicles glabrous, erect. Fl. 5. Lava rubble, rocks, s.l.-900 m.
