Rosettes 4-6 cm diam., with short stolons. Rosette leaves numerous, spreading, oblong- spathulate, c. 30 x 10 mm, 3mm thick, green with deep brown, acuminate, recurved tips, shortly glandular-pubescent. Flowers c. 2,5 cm diam., 13-15-merous; calyx lobes ovate-lanceolate, acute, c. 10 x2 mm; petals greenish-yellow; filaments violet; scales rotund, horizontal. Fl. 7-8. Rocky limestone slopes, 1800-2100 m.
Endemic. Euxine element.
