Rosettes 3-4 cm diam., few-leaved; offsets few. Leaves ovate or obovate, acute, 15-20 x7-8 mm, 5 mm thick, glaucous, becoming bronze-red in summer, glandular- pubescent when young, becoming glabrous, margin with retrorse 1 mm glandular ciliae. Flowers pale yellow, 1-1,5 cm diam., 10-12-merous; calyx lobes ovate, thick; petals c. 11 mm, spreading at first, later strongly reflexed; filaments white; scales narrowly oblong. Fl. 7. Granite crevices, 1800 m.
