Very similar to E. denticulata, but cauline leaves denticulate; rays 8-22, axillary rays to 8; seeds slightly larger, tuberculate with fluted caruncles. Fl. 5-6. Stony limestone slopes and gullies in open Quercus aegilops and Q. brantii scrub, 780-1000 m.
