Similar to E. petrophila and E. pestalozzae, but differing from both in having main stem, cauline and ray-leaves densely pubescent; cauline leaves linear, 1 mm wide; raylet-leaves yellowish; rays more slender, to 3 cm. Fl. 5-6.  Pasture-land and volcanic rocks in mountain passes, 1500-1600 m.
