Procumbent to ascending, sparsely hairy perennial, 10-40 cm, with a herbaceous to a somewhat woody base. Leaflets 8-25 mm, obovate. Inflorescence a 2-6-flowered umbel or short raceme, 1,5-2,5 cm. Corolla 8-14 mm, sulphur yellow. Legume 2,5-3,5 cm, 6-10-seeded. Fl. 6-8. Rocky places and in deciduous woodland, s.l.-1500 m.
