Scapose, perennial herb with a woody caudex. Leaves 1-1,5 cm; leaflets 7 mm, obovate-oblong, adpressed bifurcate-canescent, 3-5-paired; stipules joined to above the middle, free from the petioles. Flowers sessile, 6-8 in a subcapitate spike. Peduncles 2-3 cm. Bracts lanceolate from a broad base. Calyx c. 8 mm, tubular-campanulate; tube white-pilose; teeth largely black spreading simplehairy, subulate. Corolla when dry whitish; standard 18-21 mm, with a linear-oblong lamina. Ovary white-hispid, legume unknown. Fl 5.
