Dwarf scapose perennial. Leaves 5-12 cm; leaflets 10-20 mm, elliptic to oblong, .subacute or obtuse, glabrous, 7-10-paired; stipules 10-12 mm, ovate-lanceolate, membranous, persistent. Flowers shortly pedicellate in a sessile, 2-3-flowered raceme. Bracts 7-9 mm, ovate-lanceolate. Calyx 16-20 mm, tubular, glabrous; teeth 4-6 mm, linear, ciliate. Corolla whitish-yellow; keel purple-tipped, standard 35-45 mm. Legume unknown. Fl. 4-5. Open fields, rocky places, 350-1100 m.
