Scapose, perennial herb with a woody base. Leaves c. 15 cm; leaflets 10-16 mm, ovate to elliptic, sparsely adpressed bifurcate-hairy, c. 8-paired; stipules 6 mm, lanceolate. Inflorescence a lax cylindrical c. 30-flowered raceme. Peduncle c. 25 cm. Calyx c. 12 mm, tubular, adpressed bifurcate-hairy, mostly with white hairs; teeth c.3 mm, linear. Corolla greenish-yellow; standard c. 18 mm, attenuate above. Bracts 3-4 mm, linear. Legume c. 25 x 3 mm, linear clavate, subincurved, glabrous, erect; beak c. 3 mm.
