Erect or procumbent annual, 3-15 cm, stems ± adpressed-hairy. Leaves 2-6 cm; leaflets 6-12 mm, oblong to linear-oblong, obtuse or retuse, both surfaces adpressed-simple-pilose, 5-6-paired; stipules 3-5 mm, triangular-lanceolate, black- and white-hairy. Flowers in 2-4-flowered spikes. Bracts c. 1 mm, lanceolate, black- and white-hairy. Calyx 5-6 mm, tubular, sparsely black- and white-simple-pilose; teeth c. 1 mm. Corolla whitish or violet; standard 8-9 mm. Legumes 20-30 x 3 mm, linear, falcate, rugose, short white adpressed-simple-hairy; beak 1-2 mm, curved. FI. 5-6. Fields, roadsides, etc., 1100-1300 m.
