Prostrate, scapose, perennial herb, with a branched, woody caudex. Leaves 2.5-10 cm; leaflets 8-14 mm. linear-elliptic to narrowly elliptic, sparsely adpressed bifurcate-pilose, 10-20-paired; stipules 4-8 mm, lanceolate to broadly ovate. Peduncles 2-5 cm. Inflorescence 2-4 x 2-3 cm., a lax, globose to oblong, 10-25-flowered raceme; flowers shortly pedicellate. Bracts c. 6 mm, narrowly ovate. Calyx 8-10 mm, tubular, sparsely black adpressed or ±adpressed bifurcate-hairy; teeth 3-4 mm, setaceous. Corolla yellow or greenish yellow: standard 14-17 mm, broadly elliptic, deeply notched. Legume c. 16x4 mm, shortly cylindrical, curved, sparsely white adpressed bifurcate-pilose; beak c. 2 mm, straight. Fl. 6-7. Pinus forests, grassy slopes. 1200-3050 m.
