Erect, caulescent perennial; stems 60-100 cm. Leaves 8-15 cm; leaflets 10-22 mm, elliptic, obtuse, glabrous above, sparsely white simple-hairy beneath, 12-20-paired; stipules 3-10 mm, linear-lanceolate. Peduncles 7-14 cm. Flowers shortly pedicellate, pendulous, in lax, cylindrical, 30-40-flowered racemes. Bracts 6-8 mm, linear. Calyx c. 5 mm, campanulate, sparsely black spreading-hairy; teeth 2-3 mm, subulate to triangular. Corolla pale yellow; standard 14-16 mm. Legume 12-15 mm, plano-convex, laterally compressed, glabrous, long-stipitate, mucronate. Fl. 6-7. Screes, hillsides, roadside banks, 1500-2200 m.
