Dwarf, prostrate, acaulous, perennial herb with a branched, woody caudex. Leaves 4-5 cm; leaflets 5-7 mm, narrowly elliptic to elliptic, bifurcate sericeo-strigillose on both surfaces, 8-11-paired; stipules c.4 mm, lanceolate. Inflorescence subsessile, a 5-15-flowered raceme; flowers shortly pedicellate. Bracts c. 3 mm, linear-lanceolate. Calyx 10-12 mm, tubular, adpressed white bifurcate-pilose; teeth 2-4 mm, linear. Corolla yellow; standard 17-22 mm. Legume c. 8 x 5 mm, ovoid, densely white bifurcate- or sub-bifurcate-villous; beak c. 1 mm, straight. FI. 6-7. Upland steppe, 1600-2000 m.
