Erect, caulescent perennial, 20-50 cm, with a creeping rhizome. Leaves 6-12 cm; leaflets 6-18 mm, narrowly elliptic, glabrous above, sparsely adpressed-bifurcate-hairy below, 8-16-paired; stipules 6-14 mm, lanceolate, free. Peduncles 6-10 cm. Inflorescence 2,5-4 x c. 2 cm, an oblong, 25-50-flowered spike. Bracts c. 1 mm, ovate-lanceolate. Calyx 4-5 mm, tubular-campanulate, sparsely short black adpressed-hairy; teeth 0,5-1 mm, triangular. Corolla lemon yellow; standard 10-14 mm. Legume 7-9 x c. 3 mm, oblong, terete, slightly curved, sparsely white puberulous or glabrescent; beak c. 2 mm. Fl. 6-7.
