Prostrate caulescent perennial; stems to 15 cm. Leaves 2-5 cm; leaflets 5-10 mm, ovate to obovate, obtuse, glabrous above, white, adpressed simple-hairy below, 6-10-paired; stipules 3-6 mm, linear-oblong, united at the base. Peduncles c. 3 cm. Inflorescence a lax, 2-5-flowered spike. Bracts 3-4 mm, oblong. Calyx 9-11 mm, tubular, sparsely black spreading simple-hairy; teeth 1-3 mm, setaceous. Corolla yellow with a bluish keel; standard 17-20 mm. Legume 10-20 mm in diam., globose, mucronate, inflated, sparsely black- and white-simple hairy. Fl. 7-8. Mountain pastures, 2400-2700m.
