Procumbent or ascending annual with spreading-hairy stems. Leaves 4-10 cm; leaflets 5-10 mm, oblong to cuneate, retuse, both surfaces shortly simple-pilose, 10-15-paired; stipules 2-5 mm, ovate, white-ciliate, joined to petiole. Flowers shortly pedicellate in a 5-8-flowered raceme. Bracts 1-3 mm, lanceolate. Calyx 3-4 mm, campanulate to tubular-campanulate, black and white subadpressed simple-hairy; teeth 1-1,5 mm, linear. Corolla pale mauve; standard 5-7 mm. Legume 20-40 x 4-6 mm, indehiscent, dorsiventrally compressed, each valve sinuate, dentate, glabrous or adpressed-hairy. Fl. 4-6. Sandy fields, waste ground, s.l.-700 m.
