Scapose perennial with woody caudex; stems 10-20 cm. Leaves 3-15 cm; leaflets oblong to ovate, obtuse to retuse, both surfaces simple-pilose with long dense hairs, 12-21-paired; stipules 8-12 mm, linear, white-hairy. Peduncles ± equal to or exceeding leaves, densely pilose. Flowers in 8-22-flowered spikes, at first dense, later elongating. Bracts 5-7 mm, ovate, white-hairy. Bracteoles 3-4 mm, lanceolate. Calyx 10-15 mm, tubular at first, becoming globose-inflated, long densely simple-white-pilose; teeth 4-6 mm, narrowly triangular. Corolla dirty white to pale yellow; standard 18-22 mm. Legume unknown. Fl. 5-6. Hilly steppe, roadsides, 600-1200 m.
Endemic; Ir.-Tur. element. Closely related to A. surugensis.
