Shrub, 40-60 cm, adpressed silvery hairy. Petioles 4-15 mm, compressed, adpressed hairy. Leaflets subsessile or with 1-1.5 mm petiolules, elliptic, obovate to oblanceolate, cuneate at base. mucronate at apex. 4-10 x 3-7 mm, glabrous or very sparsely adpressed hairy above. densely adpressed whitish hairy below. Flowers in heads. 2-8. Pedicels 1-3 mm long, densely adpressed sericeous. Calyx c. 10 mm, with silvery adpressed hairs. upper 2 teeth triangular 2-3 mm; lower 3 teeth linear to lanceolate, 1.5-2.5 mm, middle teeth narrower than others. Corolla bicoloured, yellow and brownish reel. Standard 17-20 mm , suborbicular. emarginate, dorsal surface glabrous or central part puberulous; wings 14-15 mm , limb as long as claw, puberulous on dorsal midnerve. Staminal tube 9-10 mm long; filaments 3-4 mm, Ovary 6-8 mm, sericeous; style 5-6 mm long. Legume straight, 20-25 x 4 mm densely silvery adpressed sericeous. Fl. 6-7. Open Pinus nigra forest, serpentine slopes, 1450-1700 m.
