Ascending-erect, slender perennial, glabrous to sparsely pubescent. Stems wingless, slender, 15-40 cm. Median leaves subsessile, subdigitate, aristate; leaflets 2-paired, linear, 20-70 x 1-3 mm, 3-5-parallel-veined; stipules lanceolate, much longer than the 0,5-1 mm petiole. Peduncles as long as or longer than leaves, rather laxly 3-6-flowered; pedicels 2-6 mm. Flowers purple or bluish. 14-20 mm. Calyx 6-9 mm; lowest tooth slightly shorter than tube. Style linear-subspathulate, 3-4,5 x c. 0·75 mm. Legume linear-suboblanceolate, 35-55 x 4·5-6 mm. Fl. 4-6. Pinus forests , Quercus woods, macchie, rocky slopes, scree, 200-1550 m.
