Slender scrambling annual, up to 1 m, glaucescent, very glabrous. Stems narrowly winged. Leaves bearing branched tendrils; leaflets 1-paired, linear-elliptic, 15-35 x 4-8 mm; stipules subulate, semi-sagittate. Peduncles 1-2-flowered, much longer than leaves. Calyx 10-12 mm; teeth subequal, 1 1/2-2 x as long as tube, patent. Corolla violet , c. 20 mm; standard sparsely pubescent on back. Legume linear-oblong, recurved, densely pilose and glandular-verruculose; style 11 mm. FI. 5-6. Macchie, c. 70 m.
Endemic; E. Medit. element. This handsome species is allied to L. lycicus, with which it is sympatric.
