Subglabrous, ascending annual. Stem with wings as broad as stem. Median and upper leaves with mostly 3-sect tendrils; leaflets 1-paired, narrowly lanceolate to narrowly linear 20-100 x 1,5-11 mm, thin; stipules lanceolate acuminate, semi-sagittate, 1- 1 ½ x as  broad as stem. Peduncle 1-flowered, c. 1/2 as long as the leaves. Calyx 7-10 mm; teeth subequal, lanceolate, 2-3 x as long as tube, erect or subpatent. Corolla sky blue, sometimes violet or white, 14-20 mm; wings broadly obovate. Legume broadly oblong, 25-33 x 9-12 mm, shortly beaked, eglandular, the upper suture furnished with 2 broad wings 1-2,5 mm wide; style 5-6 mm. Seeds 3-4, smooth, 6-8 mm. Fl. 4-6. Field crop and weed, s.l-1520 m.
