Small adpressed-pilose, prostrate annual, 5-12 cm. Leaflets small, 3-8 x 2-4 mm, ovate, obovate or rhomboid, sometimes apiculate, those of lower pair often shorter than the others. Umbels 1-2-flowered, on slender peduncles 2-3 x subtending leaves. Bracts usually equal to leaflets. Flowers 5-8 mm. Calyx distinctly bilabiate, teeth unequal, as long as or shorter than tube. Corolla pale yellow, c. ½ longer than calyx. Standard bent, about as long as wings and the strongly arched short-beaked keel. Legume 20-40 x 1-1,5 mm, slightly flattened and torulose, somewhat arched, obliquely mucronate-beaked. Fl. 3-4. Sandy soils and dunes nr. s.l.
