Procumbent, adpressed-pilose annual, 15-50 cm. Upper leaflets 8-18 x 4-10 mm, obovate to rhomboid, lower pair much smaller. Umbels 3-5-flowered, on slender peduncles up to It x subtending leaf. Bracts longer than calyx, resembling leaflets. Flowers 7-8 mm. Calyx distinctly bilabiate, teeth about as long as tube, unequal. Corolla yellow, 1/3 longer than calyx. Standard slightly longer than other parts of flower, wings slightly longer than the strongly arched, short-beaked keel. Legume about 20-45 x 2-3 mm, flattened, slightly arched, strongly torulose. FI. 4-5. Rocky limestone slopes, s.l.-600 m.
