Glabrous or sparsely pubescent, ascending annual, 10-50 cm. Leaflets 3-7-paired. Inflorescence 1-5-flowered, not subtended by a leaf. Flowers 6-8 mm, yellow. Calyx teeth at most ½ as long as the petal claws. Lomentum 20-35 mm, curved, not contracted between the 8-12 segments; beak 5 mm or less. Fl. 4-5. Open ground and by streams.
