Annual, 15-50 cm. Leaves glaucous, pinnate, with 5-7 pairs of cuneate leaflets. Umbel 5-10-flowered, bracts c. 1 mm, ligulate, with purplish tips. Flowers 15-17 mm, yellow, the corolla claws c. as long as the sepals. Lomenta arcuate, 6-12 cm x 2-3 mm, with 6-10 articulations. Fl. 5-6. Limestone slopes, 700-1650 m.
Endemic; E. Medit. element. When in flower, readily mistaken for Securigera securidaca.
