Annual herb, 8-40 cm. Leaves green with 4-6 pairs of cuneate leaflets. Umbels 3-6-flowered, bracts c. 1 mm, ligulate, with purplish tips. Flowers white, pink, lilac, or sometimes yellow, 8-11 mm, the corolla claws c. as long as the sepals. Lomenta 3-7 cm x 2-3,5 mm, with 4-8 articulations, strongly arcuate. Fl. 3-5. On limestone, fixed dunes, and cultivated ground, s.l.-2000 m.
