Sparsely to densely hairy, procumbent to ascending perennial; stems 10-35 cm. Leaflets ciliate, asymmetric, upper up to 3 x 1,5 cm, stipules conspicuously smaller, obtriangular to obovate, apiculate. Flowers single , peduncle about 2 x subtending leaf. Bracts 3, linear-oblong, much smaller than leaflets. Flowers 2,5-3 cm. Calyx teeth much shorter than tube. Corolla gold or sulphur, slightly shorter than calyx; standard much longer than wings. Legume slightly flattened, 4-6 x 0,3 cm, with 4 short membranous wings. Fl. 6-7. Marshy ground and around stagnant pools, 800-1750 m.
