Annual with flexuous stems, 10-30 cm. Stipules oblong, free portions lanceolate- subulate. Leaflets 0,5-1,5 cm, obovate, rounded or truncate. Inflorescence globose to ovoid, at length 1,0-1,4 cm diam., pedunculate. Calyx tube obconical, or campanulate, 20-nerved, in fruit indurate, throat open, glabrous or ciliate; teeth setaceous from a triangular base, acute, ciliate, subequal. Corolla white or pink, 4-8 mm, as long as or slightly longer than the calyx. FI. 3-6. Rocky and grassy places, among scrub, etc., s.l.-450 m.
