Erect or ascending annual, 15-30 cm. Leaflets 10-15 mm, obovate, rounded to emarginate at the apex; stipules c. 1 cm, membranous, ovate, adnate to the petiole; free portion subulate. Inflorescence umbellate, globose, 0.8-1.0 cm diam., 15-20-flowered; peduncles 0-2 cm, shorter than the leaves. Bracteoles minute, subulate. Flowers pink; pedicels shorter than the calyx tube, recurved in fruit. Calyx 5-6 mm, 10-nerved with subulate, reflexed teeth 3-4 mm, the teeth unequal. Corolla 4-5 mm. Legume ovate-oblong slightly constricted between the two seeds. Fl. 5-6. Steppes and forest clearings, 700-1800 m.
