Erect to decumbent annual, 10-50 cm. Stipules ovate; free portion triangular-ovate, ending abruptly in a subulate, ciliate cusp. Leaflets 0,7-1,0 cm, obovate to oblong, obtuse to obcordate. Inflorescence ovoid to oblong, becoming cylindrical, 0,6-1,5 cm wide, pedunculate or sessile. Calyx tube ellipsoid, 10-nerved, usually adpressed-hairy, becoming globular in fruit, open; the teeth lanceolate-subulate, acute, erect. Corolla pink, 5-7 mm, persistent, shorter or longer than the calyx. Fl. 5-8. Pastures, waste places, etc., to 1600 m.
