Prostrate or decumbent annual, to-30 cm. Leaflets 0,8-1,2 cm, mostly obcordate. Inflorescence long-peduncled, many-flowered. Corollate flowers few or many. Calyx of fertile flowers glabrous or sparingly pubescent, teeth subequal. Corolla white with pinkish stripes, c. 10 mm, 2 x as long as the calyx. Calyces of the sterile flowers with solid, linear teeth. Fruiting head 12-15 mm, deflexed, peduncles elongating and recurving so as to force the head into the ground. Fruits developing underground. Fl. 4-6. Open communities, s.l.-800 m.
