Decumbent or ascending annual, 10-15 cm. Stipules foliate, free portion ovate to ovate-lanceolate. Leaflets 0,6-1 cm, cuneate, obovate obtuse or retuse at the apex. Inflorescences globose to ovate-oblong, 1-1,5 cm wide, sessile. C. ½ x tube cylindrical, 10-nerved, hispid, becoming globular or urceolate in fruit; throat closed by a 2-lipped callosity; teeth subulate, spreading. Corolla pink to purple, 8-10 mm; standard linear-oblong, obtuse, at least as long as the calyx. Fl. 4-5. Hillsides and montane valleys, 250-1600 m.
